Request a Visit

UW student ambassadors lead 60 to 90 minute sessions with PowerPoint to share their UW experience and present college planning information in a fun, interactive way. Visits include time for questions and answers, as well as candy and cool UW-themed  prizes! Please note, a teacher must be present for the visit.

Learning objectives:

  • Students will be able to evaluate myths about college.
  • Students will be able to discuss personal background knowledge about college.
  • Students will be able to formulate questions about college.
  • Students will be able to explore connections between their strengths and interests and potential career choices.
  • Students will be able to hypothesize about potential obstacles they may face in school and as they begin pursuing careers.

Bucky’s Classroom students and teachers are invited to campus to enjoy a specialty group campus tour through Campus & Visitor Relations. For classes who are unable to travel to campus, virtual learning resources and experiences are available, as well as a virtual tour of campus. There is no cost to participate in the program, however schools travelling to campus are responsible for bringing sack lunches and providing their own transportation.
